365 Day 365. We took down the tree and Christas decorations today, marking the end of Christmas 2009. It was also the last day of the year and last day of this project. It was a fun project to take on and I think I learned a lot and grew as a photographer. Still, it is a lot of work and a huge time commitment and I will enjoy the break. Who knows, I may miss it and look for some other projects in 2010 =)

365 Day 364. Our cat Lily has been getting quite fat and lazy. For Christmas we got her this toy which is this feather and glitter hunk of fluff on the end of a string attached to a pole. Somehow as smart as cats are they always fall for stuff like this, and she has been chasing it all around.

365 Day 363. Becky got me this GPS for Christmas this year. I have never owned one, but have borrowed one a few times and they are very handy. It should come in handy for future photo engagements around the state.

365 Day 362. It is always really cool when the kids make gifts at school for various holiday’s. This year Rachel made us this, and with a candle inside it was very pretty.
Day 361: Dig out the slides

365 Day 361. The package I received on day 355 was this equipment for my Dad. I had forgotten about it until Christmas was drawing near, but he had found this stuff on eBay to convert slides to digital. Basicly, you use a digital camera and this unit and are able to take pictures of the slides. Hopefully it works as well as the reviews claim.

365 Day 360. Christmas 2009 has now come and gone. Christmas is a fun time of the year when everyone is a little nicer and time is spent with family and friends. We still have a few parties to go, but they have been spread out and have gone really well.

365 Day 359. Last December, Becky’s parents took us all to Disney for a wonderful vacation. Becky’s went through all the pictures this december and made them a photo book to remember the fun times we had. It was a great gift idea and a big surprise.
Day 358: All I want

365 Day 358. It’s Christmas eve, and we usualy do presents as a family on that night. The older your kids get, the easier it is to get gifts for them. Instead of boxes of little toys and stuff, all they really wanted was some new high tech gadgets.

365 Day 357. The kids have been enjoiying their Christmas break, and today Becky and Rachel spent quite awhile baking and decorating cookies. Rachel takes the cookies to the next level, and makes them so decorative that they are almost too cute to eat.

365 Day 356. Went to Fredrik Meijer Gardens again tonight with some friends for some outdoor photography. Tuesday night is the only night they stay open late, and is was a nice (but cold) night walking around out there taking it all in.
